Why is this webinar happening now?
The Ministry of Health is considering whether to legislate to limit the use of puberty blockers. The lack of evidence of safety should be made available to patients and parents as part of the informed consent process. New Zealand has made few changes to rein in gender medicine for children and young people. There are few data and few constraits meaning that New Zealand is becoming an outlier in relation to other countries.
