Series and all associated brands) aim to bring you the best information and insights from the data protection, privacy, security, ESG and financial crime sectors. GRC World Forums would like to contact you about products and services that you may find interesting. We will process your personal details, including a work email address to support your registration, this data is also used for marketing purposes by GRC. You can unsubscribe from future communications from GRC at any time by clicking the link in each email we send or by emailing privacy@grcworldforums.com.
We also share registration data with the Gold, Platinum, Overall Headline, Theatre Sponsors and the sponsors of any of the individual sessions or webinars that you choose to attend. SMS & WHATSAPP MESSAGES ABOUT OUR IN-PERSON EVENTS
If you give us your mobile number at registration and tick the SMS or WhatsApp box, we will message you on that channel about the event you registered for. These messages contain your personalised schedule and agenda, session reminders, and practical information such as venue, timings and travel.
We rely on your consent for this, under Article 6(1)(a) UK GDPR. You choose each channel separately, and we only use the ones you tick. We do not use SMS or WhatsApp to promote other events, products or services.
We send these messages through our WhatsApp Business Account, under GRC World Forums and work in collaboration with Bridged, who processes your number on our instructions. WhatsApp is operated by WhatsApp Ireland Limited, part of Meta, which processes your phone number and message data under its own terms and privacy policy.
You can stop the messages at any time, on either channel or both. Reply STOP anytime or email privacy@grcworldforums.com. Stopping the messages does not affect your registration or event entry.
