This Privacy Policy explains how I collect, use and protect personal information provided in connection with my exhibitions and related art activities, including registrations made through Ticket Tailor.
Information I collect
When you register for an exhibition through Ticket Tailor, I may receive information that you provide as part of the registration process, including your name and email address and any other information requested on the registration form.
I collect only information reasonably necessary to administer the exhibition, communicate with people who have registered and, where you have separately agreed, send occasional information about future exhibitions and related art projects.
Ticket Tailor
I use Ticket Tailor to provide online registration and ticketing services for my exhibitions.
Ticket Tailor processes ticket-buyer and attendee information on my behalf in providing this service. Information provided through Ticket Tailor may be processed or stored outside Canada and may therefore be subject to the laws of the jurisdictions in which it is processed or stored.
How I use your information
Information provided when you register for an exhibition may be used to:
- provide and administer your registration;
- send confirmations or information concerning the exhibition for which you registered;
- respond to questions or requests from you; and
- maintain information reasonably necessary for the administration of the exhibition.
Registering for an exhibition does not by itself mean that you have agreed to receive promotional emails about future exhibitions or related work.
Optional emails about future exhibitions
When registering, you may be given a separate option to agree to receive occasional emails from me about future exhibitions and related art projects.
This choice is entirely optional and is not a condition of registering for or attending an exhibition.
I will use your email address for this purpose only if you have expressly chosen to receive these communications.
You may withdraw your consent and unsubscribe at any time by contacting me at the email address below.
Sharing of information
I do not sell, rent or trade ticket-buyer or attendee names, email addresses or other personal information.
Personal information may be processed by Ticket Tailor and by other service providers where reasonably necessary to administer registrations or communications on my behalf.
If I use an email service provider to send information about future exhibitions or related art projects, only information reasonably necessary for that purpose will be provided to the service, and such communications will be sent only to people who have agreed to receive them.
I may also disclose personal information where required by law.
Retention
I retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes for which it was collected.
Registration information relating to a particular exhibition will normally be retained for no longer than six months after the exhibition, except where it is reasonably necessary to retain particular information for a longer period.
If you have expressly agreed to receive occasional emails about future exhibitions and related art projects, I may retain your name, email address and a record of your consent for that purpose until you withdraw your consent.
Security
I take reasonable steps to protect personal information under my control against unauthorized access, use, disclosure, loss or alteration.
Information processed through Ticket Tailor is also protected by the security measures applying to Ticket Tailor's service.
Your choices and access to your information
You may contact me at any time to:
- ask what personal information I hold about you;
- ask me to correct inaccurate information;
- withdraw your consent to receive future emails; or
- ask me to delete personal information that I no longer need to retain for a legitimate purpose.
