MTL Healing Space – Media Release Policy
MTL Healing Space (MTLHS), operated by 9552-5473 Québec Inc., may create photographs, videos, or audio recordings (“Media”) during our events, programs, or activities for educational, promotional, marketing, and archival purposes. This policy outlines the terms of Media use and your rights regarding your likeness and participation.
By participating in MTLHS events, you acknowledge and agree that Media containing your image, likeness, voice, or participation may be captured. MTLHS and its authorized representatives (“Permitted Parties”) are granted the right to use, reproduce, edit, distribute, and display such Media in any format or media, in perpetuity, worldwide.
Purpose of Media
Media may be used for purposes including, but not limited to:
- Educational and training materials
- Promotional and marketing content (e.g., website, social media, newsletters)
- Documentation of programs and events
- Fundraising and organizational development
Participants agree to the following terms:
- No financial compensation will be provided for the use of Media.
- MTLHS is under no obligation to use any specific Media and may cease use at any time at its sole discretion.
- Media may be used without prior notification or further consent from the participant.
MTLHS is committed to a consensual and respectful environment. Any participant who wishes to have a specific photo or video containing their image removed from our digital platforms (e.g., website, social media accounts) may submit a formal takedown request.
To process your request, please email hello@mtlhealing.space and include:
- Your full name.
- The date and name of the event you attended.
- A description of the Media or, if possible, a screenshot or direct link to its online location.
We will make reasonable efforts to remove the requested Media from our active digital platforms within 14 business days of receiving a complete request. Please note that this policy applies to content under our direct control and may not extend to:
- Materials already printed or physically distributed.
- Media cached, shared, or stored by third-party platforms or systems beyond our immediate control.
By participating, you release MTLHS and its Permitted Parties from any and all claims arising from the use of the Media, including claims for libel, invasion of privacy, or infringement of any moral or publicity rights.
This policy applies to participants aged 18 and over. By participating, you confirm you are of legal age and authorized to agree to these terms.
