Privacy Policy

Last updated: 1 August 2025

This policy sets out how we collect, process, and hold your personal data if you visit our event ticket shop or otherwise provide personal data to us. We are New Norm Hospitality Foundation, located at Saborna 3, Sofia, Bulgaria (UIC: 207847046). We are the data controller of your personal data.

This policy affects your legal rights and obligations, so please read it carefully. If you have any questions, you can contact us at connect@newnormhospitality.com.

Personal data we collect

We collect, process, store, and use personal data when you purchase a ticket or any associated products or services to attend our events. This includes your name, email address, and payment information. If you register someone else, you confirm that you have their permission to provide their data, and that they have been informed of this privacy policy.

All personal data you provide must be accurate and complete. If we suspect or detect fraudulent or inaccurate data, we reserve the right to record this for security and compliance purposes.

You are not required to provide personal data just to view our ticket shop. However, we may still collect certain technical data as described below, and you may receive marketing communications only if you have given explicit consent.

If you contact us by email, phone, or post, we may retain your message and contact details for the purpose of responding to your request.

Data we automatically collect

When you visit our event ticket shop, we or third-party providers acting on our behalf may automatically collect technical and usage information. This may include your device’s unique ID, browser type, operating system, time zone, language, and statistics about your interaction with the platform. This is collected using cookies and analytics tools (see “Cookies” below).

We also allow certain service providers, such as analytics and advertising networks, to collect anonymised behavioural and geographic data to support our service delivery and promotional insights.

Marketing communications

Suppose you opt in to receive marketing communications from us. In that case, you consent to the processing of your data for the purpose of sending you information about events, newsletters, surveys, or content updates. We will retain a record of your consent for compliance purposes.

You may unsubscribe at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any email or contacting us directly at connect@newnormhospitality.com. Please note that it may take a few business days for changes to take effect. Your personal data will be retained for marketing purposes until you withdraw your consent.

Lawful basis for processing

We process your data under the GDPR under the following legal bases:

  • To fulfil our contractual obligations in providing you with tickets and event services.

  • To comply with legal obligations related to finance, record-keeping, or security.

  • To pursue our legitimate interests in managing events, communicating with participants, and improving our services.

  • Based on your consent, where this is required for specific communications.

Sharing your data

Your data may be shared with service providers, subcontractors, or agents who help us deliver ticketing, payment processing, communication, legal, or IT services. All such providers act only under our instruction and are bound by confidentiality and data processing agreements in compliance with the GDPR.

We may disclose your data if required to do so by law, regulation, or judicial process, or to protect the safety and rights of others or our legal interests. In the event of business restructuring, merger, or transfer, your data may be disclosed as part of that transaction under confidentiality.

Where we process your data

Your data may be stored or processed outside the EU or EEA. In such cases, we ensure that adequate safeguards are in place, including standard contractual clauses or equivalent legal mechanisms, to protect your data to the same standard required by the GDPR.

Cookies

Our ticket shop uses cookies to personalise your browsing experience and track usage statistics. A cookie is a small text file stored on your device that helps the platform recognize your browser. You can manage or disable cookies through your browser settings, but doing so may affect functionality.

We also use Google Analytics to anonymously track usage data, including visitor counts, session length, and page interactions. Google Analytics places persistent cookies on your device unless you disable them via your browser settings.

Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorized access, loss, or damage. These include secure servers, access restrictions, and encrypted payment processes.

While we take care to protect your data, no system is completely secure. By using our services, you acknowledge this residual risk.

Your rights

You have the right to request a copy of the personal data we hold about you and to ask us to correct, complete, or delete that data. You may also object to or restrict certain forms of processing, and where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time.

If you wish to exercise any of these rights, don't hesitate to get in touch with us at connect@newnormhospitality.com. We reserve the right to charge an administrative fee for manifestly unfounded or excessive requests.

If you are dissatisfied with how we process your data, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Commission for Personal Data Protection in Bulgaria (www.cpdp.bg).

Third-party links

Our event pages may include links to external websites. We are not responsible for the content, security, or privacy practices of third-party sites. We recommend that you review the privacy policy of any website you visit from our platform.

Data retention

If you register for an event, we will retain your data until the conclusion of the event and for a reasonable period thereafter for communication and support. If you subscribe to our mailing list, we will retain your data until you unsubscribe. In all cases, data will be securely deleted or anonymized once no longer required for its original purpose.

General

If any provision of this policy is deemed invalid or unenforceable, the remaining terms shall remain in effect. We may update this policy at any time and will post changes on our ticket shop page. Your continued use of our services after updates take effect will indicate your acceptance of the revised policy.
