To request a refund, contact the organiser at info@bibertech.co.nz.
1.4 Ticket transfers
Tickets may be transferred to another person for the same Event, provided that:
- The organiser is notified by email (info@bibertech.co.nz) with the original attendee’s name and the replacement attendee’s full details; and
- The organiser confirms the change prior to the Event date.
Tickets may not be resold for commercial purposes or at a price higher than the original purchase price without the organiser’s written consent.
The organiser may decline a transfer where it is not reasonably practicable (for example, due to safety, compliance, or administrative constraints).
Any person receiving a transferred ticket is deemed to have read and accepted these terms and conditions.
Name badges may not be reprinted on the day of the Event, and late transfers may result in generic or handwritten badges.
1.5 Event details, changes and cancellation
- The Event is scheduled to be held on Friday 4 September 2026 at Novotel Rotorua Lakeside, Rotorua, New Zealand (or a replacement venue in Rotorua as notified by the organiser).
- The organiser may make reasonable changes to the programme, speakers, schedule, or venue within Rotorua where required for operational reasons, including substituting speakers if necessary.
- Programme changes do not entitle attendees to refunds.
- If the Event is cancelled by the organiser and no replacement date is offered, the organiser will offer a full refund of the ticket price paid.
- If the Event is postponed or significantly changed (for example, moved to different dates), the organiser will either:
- offer to transfer tickets to the new date; or
- offer a full refund to attendees who cannot or do not wish to attend the revised event.
- If the Event is affected by circumstances beyond the organiser’s reasonable control (including but not limited to natural disasters, severe weather events, venue unavailability, transport disruption, government orders, or public health restrictions), the organiser will act reasonably and in good faith regarding whether the Event proceeds and what refunds, credits, or alternative arrangements (if any) are appropriate, taking into account applicable New Zealand consumer law.
1.6 Privacy
The organiser will collect and use attendee personal information for event administration, safety and communications about the Event. Further details are set out in the Privacy Policy below.
1.7 Photography, recording and behaviour
- All attendees, speakers, sponsors and staff are expected to behave in a professional and respectful manner. Harassment, discrimination, bullying, or other inappropriate behaviour will not be tolerated.
- The organiser may refuse admission or remove any person whose behaviour reasonably threatens the safety, comfort, or learning environment of others. No refund will be provided in such cases.
- Attendees must comply with reasonable instructions from the organiser and venue staff, including health and safety requirements and emergency procedures. Attendees must also take reasonable care for their own health and safety and the safety of others while attending the Event.
- Attendees may take still photographs for personal use where this does not disrupt the Event and respects any confidentiality requests made by speakers.
- Audio or video recording of sessions is not permitted without prior written permission from the organiser and the relevant speaker(s).
- The organiser may take photographs and may occasionally record video at the Event for reporting and promotional purposes. If you do not wish to appear in photographs, please inform the organiser on arrival and we will take reasonable steps to accommodate your preference.
