Skills of the Future Ltd (“SocialDay”, “we”, “us”, “our”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal data. This notice explains what we collect, why, how we use it and the choices you have. It covers our website socialday.live, ticketing pages (TicketTailor), mailing lists, and attendance at any SocialDay event (together “Services”).

We are the data controller for information described in this notice. Where we act jointly with partners (e.g. named event sponsors for one-to-one follow-up) they are independent data controllers.

4. Data sharing

  • Event sponsors / speakersonly those named on the event website; each receives the delegate list after signing a Limited-Use Data Agreement that forbids bulk email or further disclosure.

  • Service providers – ticketing (TicketTailor), payment (Stripe), email (MailerLite), survey (Typeform), venue & AV suppliers.

  • Legal / regulatory – if required by law or to enforce our terms.

We do not sell or rent your data.

5. International transfers

Some suppliers (e.g. Mailchimp, Typeform) are outside the UK/EU. Transfers rely on:

  • Data-protection adequacy regulations, or

  • UK/EU Standard Contractual Clauses + supplementary measures.

  • Withdraw consent – at any time where we rely on consent

8. Cookies

Our cookie banner lets you accept or reject:

  • Marketing cookies – remarketing pixels (optional)

9. Security

We follow ISO 27001-aligned controls: encryption in transit, role-based access, least privilege, MFA on all SaaS accounts, annual penetration tests, staff GDPR training. Sponsor lists are shared via password-protected links expiring in 7 days.

We may update this notice to reflect legal or business changes. The latest version will always be at socialday.live/privacy; significant changes will be emailed to registered users.
