1. Who we are
We are The Craft & Current Club, a community organisation based in Milton Keynes. We host events for sewists, makers, and creatives. You can contact us at bolly@thecraftandcurrent.club.
2. What information we collect
When you purchase a ticket for our event, we collect:
- Name: To identify you and manage the guest list.
- Email Address: To send you your ticket, event updates, and important logistics.
- Dietary Requirements: To ensure we can safely cater to your needs (e.g., allergies, vegan, gluten-free).
3. Why we need it and how we use it
We use your information strictly to run the event you have signed up for.
- Legal Basis: We process your name and email to fulfil our contract with you (providing the event experience).
- Special Category Data: We process dietary requirements based on your explicit consent (given by filling out the form) to ensure your health and safety.
4. How we store and share your data
- Storage: Your data is stored securely in Ticket Tailor, our ticketing platform.
- Sharing: We do not sell your data.
- Retention: We will only keep your dietary information until the event is over unless you sign-up for e-mail marketing. We may keep your name and email for 6 months to send a follow-up "thank you" or event photos, unless you ask us to delete them sooner.
5. Your Rights
Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:
- Ask us what data we hold about you.
- Ask us to delete your data.
- Withdraw your consent for us to hold your dietary information at any time.
