The Way Fellowship – Kibworth

This privacy policy explains how The Way Fellowship – Kibworth uses personal information provided when you book a place at one of our events through Ticket Tailor.

The Way Fellowship – Kibworth is the data controller for personal information we receive in connection with your booking. If you have any questions about how your information is used, please contact us at thewaykibworth@gmail.com

Information we collect

When you book tickets for an event, we may receive basic information needed to manage your booking, such as your name, email address and the number and type of tickets booked.

We do not ask for personal information about individual children unless this is specifically necessary for an event and clearly explained at the time.

How we use your information

We use your information only where reasonably necessary to organise and administer the event. This may include:

• managing bookings and attendance;
• contacting you about your booking;
• sending important information or changes relating to the event; and
• responding to questions you send us.

We do not use information provided through an event booking to add you automatically to a general mailing or marketing list.

We process this information where it is necessary for our legitimate interests in organising and administering our events, while taking into account your privacy rights.

Ticket Tailor and other service providers

Our event bookings are managed through Ticket Tailor. Ticket Tailor processes booking information on our behalf in order to provide the ticketing service and has its own privacy and security arrangements.

We may also use other trusted service providers where reasonably necessary to operate our events or communications. We will not sell your personal information or share it with other organisations for their own marketing purposes.

How long we keep your information

We will keep booking information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the administration of the event and to deal with any questions arising afterwards. Unless there is a legal or safeguarding reason for keeping particular information for longer, we aim to delete or anonymise event booking information when it is no longer required.

Security

We take reasonable steps to keep personal information secure and limit access to those within The Way Fellowship who need it for the organisation of the event.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law, you may have rights relating to your personal information, including the right to ask for a copy of information we hold about you, to ask for inaccurate information to be corrected, and in some circumstances to ask for information to be deleted or restrict how it is used.

To contact us about your information, email thewaykibworth@gmail.com.

You also have the right to raise a concern with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) if you are unhappy with how your personal information has been handled.

Changes to this policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time to reflect changes to our events or the way we use personal information.
