Information we collect
When you purchase a ticket, we may receive information including your name, email address, ticket type, order details and any other information you choose to provide during checkout.
Ticket sales are processed using Ticket Tailor and our payment providers. We do not receive or store your full debit or credit card details.
If you contact us regarding an event, accessibility, an order or another enquiry, we may also retain the information you provide to us in that correspondence.
How we use your information
We use your personal information to process and administer ticket purchases; send tickets, receipts and important information relating to your booking; manage entry to our events; respond to questions and customer-service enquiries; deal with refunds, cancellations or event changes; make requested accessibility arrangements; prevent fraud or misuse of our services; comply with our accounting, tax and other legal obligations; and send marketing communications where you have chosen to receive them.
Our lawful bases
We process information where it is necessary to perform our contract with you, such as supplying tickets you have purchased.
We may process information where necessary to comply with a legal obligation, including maintaining appropriate financial and transaction records.
We may also rely on our legitimate interests where necessary to administer and improve our events, provide customer service, maintain security and protect our business.
Where we send optional promotional or marketing communications, we rely on your consent where required. You may unsubscribe at any time.
Who we share information with
We only share personal information where reasonably necessary to operate our events and services. This may include Ticket Tailor, our payment providers, event venues and other service providers involved in operating our website, ticketing or events.
Where necessary, we may provide a venue with relevant guest-list or accessibility information so that your booking can be properly accommodated.
We may also disclose information where required by law or where necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
We do not sell your personal information.
Ticket Tailor
Our online ticketing is provided by Ticket Tailor. Ticket Tailor processes ticket-buyer information on our behalf in connection with ticket purchases and the operation of our box office.
Ticket Tailor has its own privacy and data-protection arrangements governing how its services operate.
International transfers
Some organisations that provide services to us may process information outside the United Kingdom. Where this happens, we require appropriate protections to be in place in accordance with UK data-protection law.
How long we keep your information
We only keep personal information for as long as reasonably necessary.
Order and transaction records may be retained for up to six years where necessary for accounting, tax and legal purposes.
General enquiry correspondence may normally be retained for up to two years following your last contact with us.
Marketing information is retained until you unsubscribe or otherwise ask us to stop contacting you. We may retain a minimal suppression record after this to ensure that we do not accidentally add you back to our marketing list.
Your rights
Under UK data-protection law, depending on the circumstances, you may have the right to request access to the personal information we hold about you; ask us to correct inaccurate information; request deletion of your information; ask us to restrict how we use your information; object to certain uses of your information; request transfer of certain information; and withdraw consent where we rely upon consent.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at tidalwrestlingleeds@gmail.com.
Marketing
We will only send you optional marketing communications where we are permitted to do so. You can unsubscribe at any time by using the unsubscribe option contained in our emails or by contacting us directly.
Unsubscribing from marketing will not prevent us from contacting you about tickets you have purchased or important information relating to an event you are attending.
Children
Our events and ticketing services are primarily intended to be used by adults. Where tickets are purchased for children, we expect the booking to be made or supervised by a parent or guardian where appropriate.
We do not knowingly use children's personal information for marketing without the appropriate permission.
Complaints
If you have concerns about how we use your personal information, please contact us first at tidalwrestlingleeds@gmail.com and we will try to resolve the matter.
You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).
Changes to this policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time to reflect changes to our services or legal requirements. The latest version will be made available through our ticket shop and/or website.
