Which is cheaper, Ticket Tailor or Weezevent?

For most ticket prices, Ticket Tailor. Ticket Tailor charges a flat fee from £0.22 per ticket on prepaid credits, plus Stripe processing. Weezevent charges 2.5% + £0.99 per ticket in the UK with processing bundled in. On a £25 ticket that's roughly £0.95 with Ticket Tailor versus £1.61 with Weezevent. The gap widens as ticket prices rise: the flat fee stays the same whether the ticket costs £10 or £150.

Do I actually need Weezevent's RFID cashless system?

Only if you're running a large multi-day festival with on-site bars and food vendors. For seated venues, conferences, communities, schools, charities, workshops, gigs, or any event where attendees buy at the bar with their own card, RFID is operational kit you'll never use. Weezevent is excellent at festival-scale ops; it's overbuilt for everything else.

Can I sell tickets on my own website with Ticket Tailor?

Yes. The embeddable checkout widget drops into WordPress, Squarespace, Wix or any HTML site, and buyers stay on your domain through the entire purchase. You can also run ticketing on your own subdomain (e.g. tickets.yourbrand.com) for a small one-off fee, and remove Ticket Tailor branding completely if you want a fully white-label experience.

How quickly do I get paid?

Ticket Tailor pays out directly to your Stripe, PayPal or Square account as tickets sell. There's no waiting period, and the money never sits with us. Weezevent processes payments through its own gateway and transfers revenue every 15 days. For events with supplier deposits or upfront venue costs, that timing matters.

Can I migrate from Weezevent to Ticket Tailor?

Yes. You can import attendee data via CSV, set up new events in Ticket Tailor in parallel with your existing Weezevent ones, and switch over when your next on-sale rolls around. Our support team will walk you through the migration if you have ticket data you need help moving, including custom field mappings and refund handling.
