Two absurd comedies from Identifiable Natural Person, an emerging theatre company borne out of Bristol Old Vic's Young Company Programme. Two protagonists muddle through the increasingly bizarre circumstances they find themselves in - during the search for employment in The Golden Tower, and the search for meaning when the money for Zoom therapy runs out in Dear Inner Child.

The Golden Tower by Andrew Brierley 

The seemingly inescapable scrabble for employment takes a mystical turn.

A young man goes for a job interview in broadcasting. But when he finds himself in an unusual, derelict basement - occupied by an irreverent, drunken interlocutor and a faulty transistor radio - he is forced to question his own reality and succumb to the basement's sentient, otherworldly nature.

Dear Inner Child by Katie Crosson 

Deep reflections on the themes of vicariously experienced trauma, the monetisation of therapy, womanhood and alienation, and the greatest existential question of all: should we really be wearing Birkenstocks?

When 35-year-old Jess runs out of money to pay her deeply uncertified Zoom therapist, she is left with only one piece of parting wisdom: if she wants to recover, she must find and heal her inner child. But as Jess reluctantly accepts this challenge, she realises summoning the right version of herself might be harder than anticipated…
