π There is NO PUBLIC TRANSPORT available to this location in the evening.
π The pub has a large car park BUT car pooling is encouraged where possible so as not to hog spaces for other customers and diners. If parking around the village, please take care not to block access for local residents and businesses, ALWAYS check signage before leaving your vehicle.

BWOAS PRIVACY POLICY

Bolton Walking andΒ Outdoors Appreciation Society is a community collective of volunteers, friends and members of the public. Walks are organised by individuals who volunteer their free time to take part in the outings.
1. Adult participants must acknowledge that they areΒ responsible for their own actions, safety, wellbeing and personal property, and are equallyΒ responsible for and have a duty of care over any accompanying children and young peopleΒ under the age of eighteen at ALL TIMES during an activity.
2. Participants must fully understand that any activity advertised by Bolton Walking and Outdoors Appreciation Society is NOT A PROFESSIONALLY GUIDED WALK.Β Volunteers who assist in organisation, managing the group and navigating on the day do so on a peer to peer basis and ARE NOT personally responsible or otherwise liableΒ for any accidents, loss of or damage to personal property or any emergency medical care that may be required.
3.Β Important personal medication must be carriedΒ during each activity and, where appropriate, a volunteer can be discreetly told of the whereabouts of any such items in the event of an emergency. This includes asthma inhalers and autoinjector pens.Β Participants must read all advertised information available and be sure that they are fit and well enough to attend an activity.Β THIS IS WHOLLY THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE PARTICIPANT OR RESPONSIBLE PARENT OR GUARDIAN OR A CHILD IN THEIR CARE UNDER THE AGE OF EIGHTEEN.
4. Volunteers and other experienced group members may offer advice during the activity but it should be understood that this IS NOT PROFESSIONAL GUIDANCE from a trained professional.Β It is the responsibility of each individual participant to make their own judgement and proceed as they see fit should a a safety issue arise.
5. Anybody taking part in a BWOAS walk should be aware that participants and volunteers in the group will capture images and video clips that WILL then be shared online via social media.Β Participants are welcomed to send such images to BWOAS to share on the walking group social media and other online platforms.
6.Β Zero Tolerance Policy β Member Conduct.Β We operate a zero tolerance policy towards unacceptable or abusive behaviour. This includes, but is not limited to: malicious or defamatory comments, slander, trolling, bullying, harassment, hate speech, or persistent negativity directed at any participants, volunteers and committee members. This policy applies to behaviour occurringΒ during organised walks or events as well asΒ in online spaces connected to the group (including social media, messaging platforms, and group chats)Β Any participants found to be engaging in such behaviour will be banned immediately. This decision will be final, and the individual will be unable to book onto or attend any future events.Our aim is to maintain a safe, inclusive, respectful, and supportive environment for all participants.
Participants booking for themselves or a child or young person under the age of eighteen in their care acknowledge that they have understood and agree with the above statements by booking onto any advertised activity.
