This one‑day event aims to bring together University of Cambridge researchers from all disciplines addressing climate change and/or nature conservation, showcasing world‑leading research on energy, materials, infrastructure, conservation, food, health, policy, law, and more.
Join us at this inaugural University of Cambridge Climate & Nature Research Showcase on Friday 26th June 2026 at the Ray Dolby Centre, West Cambridge.
All researchers from postgraduates to professors across all six Schools are welcome to join us at this inaugural pan-University event. You will learn about a variety of research that is taking place at the University, whether it is at the bench, in the field, in connecting to industry and innovation, driving policy changes, for public and civic engagement, inspiring people through art and creative ventures. We would be delighted if you could join us!
Come to this Showcase to be part of an open community for exchanging novel ideas, strengthening collaboration, and inspiring collective action to tackle the urgent global challenges that we face today.

Note, Full-Day Ticket-holders do not need to register for the Evening Public Lecture, but please feel free to invite others who are not members at the University of Cambridge to join us in the evening. There is now a separate Ticket Tailor registration page for the Evening Public Lecture.
About the Showcase
Over the course of the day, there will be a series of talks from top researchers from each of the six Schools, an all-day exhibition of posters and stands, lightning talks, and a forward-look into a transformative approach in translating the University of Cambridge research discoveries into real-world impact. The Showcase will culminate in a networking drinks reception and a public keynote lecture with a special guest.
The preliminary programme for the day will consist of two parts:
- 09:00-18:00 BST/GMT+1 - [Internal only] Day-time programme of activities for an internal Cambridge audience (register here).
- 18:30-20:00 BST/GMT+1 - [External welcome] Evening Keynote Lecture, open to the public (register here).
