About
Whether you love making art, are coming with the family, or are simply curious, come down to Riverside Park in Glenrothes for a morning of out door fun and hands-on exploration.
Led by ArtMovesFife, we will get stuck into creative making, exploring rivers, wildlife and local stories in a safe and relaxed setting. After meeting at FLORIS the Hippo, we will follow the flow of Riverside Park, investigating sounds, waters, mark making, paths and playparks. Together we will be making and shaping a larger collective artwork to be exhibited at Memorial Hall, Markinch for the Catchment Assembly later that day and the Catchment Stories, Screening and Supper. All art materials will be provided. Just turn up and join in, no booking required.
The event is free. Activities are suitable for families. All children should be supervised and accompanied by a responsible adult. And please dress for the weather, wet painting can be fun if your clothing keeps you dry. We will have coffee, tea and biscuits available for light refreshments.
If you want to join us for the Catchment Supper where the art will be exhibited and we are serving a delicious, free dinner with local produce, you can book a free spot here: tickettailor.com/events/catchmentcollective/2397722.

About the 'Catchment Festival'
This event is part of the 'Catchment Festival: A Day Along the Leven Catchment'. From dawn til dusk on the 17th October, you can join us for a day of walks, food, art, ecology, stories and conversations celebrating the landscape shaped by water and the people who call it home. Beginning as the landscape wakes and ending around a shared table, the Catchment Festival invites you to slow down, listen, explore, create, eat and imagine the future of the catchment together.
