A Christmas Tour

During the hustle and bustle of the holidays, we invite you to enter more deeply into the Advent season by spending an afternoon surrounded by beautiful religious art.  Join us for a special tour led by William Newton who will guide us through reflection and commentary on selected works of art. This is a fundraiser for the Catholic Art Institute, all proceeds and donations benefit the organization and its mission to evangelize the culture though the Catholic arts. We hope this event will delight your senses and draw you more deeply into the Advent season and the meaning of Christ’s birth this Christmas.

William Newton is the Art Critic for the Spectator World. Newton is a graduate of the Georgetown University School of Foreign Service, The University of Notre Dame Law School, and Sotheby’s Institute of Art in London. In addition to presenting before the Catholic Art Institute, he has also served as the moderator for the expert panel discussion at the Institute's conference and gala. He lives in Washington DC. This event is a fundraiser in support of the Catholic Art Institute and its ongoing efforts to restore a culture of beauty, truth and goodness, by empowering artists to use their gifts to glorify God and captivate souls through beauty.

Tickets are $23 and all proceeds will go to help the work of the Catholic Art Institute.

We will meet at the fountain in the West Building rotunda prior to the tour which will begin at 2:00 pm.

​After the tour the group will retire to the museum cafe for refreshments and social time. (refreshments are not included).

Please note, this is a popular event and tickets are likely to sell out, if they do. A wait list will be enabled and we'll contact you if tickets become available. 

Refunds are available until Dec 4th, no refunds after that time. If you need to cancel, please email contact@catholicartinstitute.org  and we will try to find alternatives to take your place from the wait list, if we can, we will offer a refund or you can donate your tickets.
