ABOUT THE CONFERENCE

The conference begins with the votive mass of Bl. Fra Angelico in the Dominican House of Studies chapel accompanied by choral polyphonic music.
Registration, lunch and the presentations will follow Holy Mass
in Fr. O'Connell Hall on Friday September 19th. Friday will conclude with a special VIP reception that includes a delicious variety of hor'dourves, and open bar.
The presentations continue on Saturday, lunch, an awards ceremony and plenty of time for networking and fellowship.
Saturday concludes with a reception for all conference attendees with a spread of a delicious hor'dourves, and open bar.

The
Royal Sonesta opened in 2023 with spacious rooms, a french restaurant,
Cafe Du Jour, on premises for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, as well as a
bar and lounge area for gatherings after the conference.
All rooms come with a mini fridge, espresso machine, complimentary robe, spacious bathrooms with rain shower fixtures, a work desk and wardrobe, complementary refillable water bottles and filtered water dispensers and ice on each floor.
The hotel is conveniently located two blocks from Union Station and close to the museums and monuments on the National Mall. It's one half block from the Dubliner Restaurant and other area restaurants and conveniences.

PARKING
Ample
metered parking is available on campus next to the Basilica, which is a
short walk to Fr. O'Connell Hall. Parking is $10 a day.
LOCATION
The Catholic University of America, Fr. O'Connell Hall (Heritage Hall). The entire conference will take place in Heritage Hall which is inside Fr. O'Connell Hall. For all day parking, please us the McMahon Parking Lot behind the Basilica (see map below). McMahon Parking Lot, Fr. O'Connell Hall and the Dominican House of Studies Chapel locations can be seen on the map below.

AFTER CONFERENCE GATHERING
Conference attendees are invited to Cafe DuJour at the Royal Sonesta Hotel after the conference for dinner, drinks and good cheer. Dinner reservations are strongly encouraged but ample space is available in the bar and lobby areas to gather and socialize. Food and drink at after conference gatherings are not included in the conference ticket.
PROMOTE YOUR BUSINESS WITH A VENDOR TABLE
A limited number of tables are available for reservation at the 2025 Catholic Art Institute Annual Conference to promote your business, artwork or book sales.
Tables will be available for both days of the conference and located in the same room as the conference presentations and meals. This will provide an ideal opportunity to network and meet with conference attendees and the speakers.
Tables
are rectangular six foot tables and include tablecloth and one ticket
to the conference. Regular and VIP tables are available for
reservation.
VIP tables provide access to a special VIP reception with the presenters and is limited to 50 attendees only. VIP ticket holder receive priorty seating in the venue for the presentations in Heritage Hall.
Additional conference tickets can be purchased for the discounted rate of $275
Table
sponsors names will be announced from the podium, listed in the program
and projected on the overhead screen at the conference, plus added to
the videos posted to You Tube of the recorded presentations.
