CSMA National Sports Massage Championship & Collaboration

Join the inaugural CSMA National Sports Massage Competition & Collaboration on June 19, 2027 in Seattle, WA!

This premier event brings together licensed sports-medicine professionals—massage therapists, physical therapists, chiropractors, athletic trainers and more—to showcase performance and recovery techniques, network, and learn from each other in a unique networking opportunity.

The morning features a hands-on competition in pre-event and post-event/maintenance massage with athlete testing and peer/judge review. Bring a friend to watch! Only $15 for spectators.

In the afternoon, dive into breakout sessions and roundtables covering power sports, endurance, rotational sports, youth, collegiate, recreational and masters athletes. 

Elevate your craft, gain exposure, and connect with fellow leaders in the field.

Who can participate? Licensed professionals providing hands-on performance or recovery care.

Come ready to treat, be an athlete or bring one, and bring your tools, creativity and passion for therapeutic performance.

8:00–8:20 am: Group 1 set up

8:20-8:30 am: Opening remarks, Rules, Q&A

8:30–8:45 am: Group 1 athlete pre-event testing

8:45–9:00 am: Group 1 pre-event treatment + retest + score

9:00–9:15 am: Group 1 athlete Post-Event/Maintenance Massage testing

9:15–9:50 am: Group 1 Post-Event/Maintenance treatment + retest + score

Transition: Group 2 Set up

10:15-10:30 am: Group 2 athlete pre-event testing

10:30-10:45 am: Group 2 pre-event treatment + retest + score

10:45–11:00 am: Group 2 Post-Event/Maintenance Massage testing

11:00-11:45 am: Group 2 Post-Event/Maintenance treatment + retest + score

11:45-12:45 Lunch mix and mingle (watch and vote on your favorite 2 minute pre-event video!)

1:00-1:30 pm: Awards
