Bowl of ‘Zole Pozole Festival is back for a second round of creative pozole and distinctive mezcal. The partners behind this event, Arik Torren of Fidencio Mezcal; Chef Danny Mena and Food Karma Projects’ founder Jimmy Carbone, wanted to bring pozole, the comforting Mexican stew, out of the shadows and into the forefront. They launched this event in 2020 to bring together chefs, mezcal producers and food lovers to celebrate all things pozole. 

The hosts of Agave Road Trip on Heritage Radio Network will be on hand to talk about all things mezcal, and Tuyo NYC will be selling pottery on site. At the event, many of your favorite mezcals and agave spirits will be available for pre-order through Duke’s Liquor Box for pickup at a later date in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. 

Our community partner for this event is City Harvest, and each chef will be donating ten quarts of pozole to the cause. 

Join us in Williamsburg on Saturday, October 23rd to sample ten takes on pozole and over fifty expressions of mezcal. The all-inclusive event will be indoors and proof of vaccination will be required to attend. VIP and general admission tickets are on sale now.
