Do you love dancing Forró and sharing incredible moments with Forrózeir@s from all over the world? Do you dream of sailing through deep-blue waters, surrounded by dramatic fjords and historic coastal towns? If you love sailing, dancing, or both, this unique sailing vacation is absolutely perfect for you!
📍 Event Details & Location: Ionian Islands (Greece)
Join us for the adventure of a lifetime through Greece's breathtaking Ionian Sea, where green islands slope down into crystal-clear turquoise waters.
🌊 Ionian Sailing: Greece's Ionian region offers a dream mix of calm, sheltered waters, historic Venetian harbour towns, hidden coves, and lush island scenery. We expect to explore islands such as Lefkada, Meganisi, Ithaca, Kefalonia, Kastos, and Kalamos, with plenty of opportunities for sailing, swimming, snorkeling, paddleboarding, and relaxing ashore.
While the exact route is still being finalized, we expect to spend the week island-hopping between gems like Lefkada, Kefalonia, Ithaca, and Meganisi. A sample route can be viewed here. The final itinerary will depend on weather conditions, crew preferences, and marina availability.
✨ Fun Fact: Did you know? The island of Ithaca was the legendary home of Odysseus from Homer's epic The Odyssey—making it the ultimate historical backdrop for our own modern sailing journey! 🏛️⛵
✈️ Getting There: We currently expect to start and end the event in the Lefkada / Preveza area (e.g., Lefkas Marina), the primary yacht charter hub for the Ionian. Aktion Airport Preveza (PVK) is located just a short transfer away, making arrivals and departures easy and convenient. The exact marina and route will be confirmed once boat bookings are finalized (foreseen for March 2027).
⚓ About the Forró Sailing Week (FSW)
This is not a massive, crowded festival; this is an intimate sailing vacation with a vibrant Forró context. Spend a full week living, sailing, and dancing with fellow Forrózeir@s from around the globe. Imagine sharing a boat with old and new friends, and dancing in the most breathtaking, unconventional locations: ancient Venetian fortresses, secluded sandy beaches, lively island plazas, and picturesque stone waterfront quays.
☀️ By Day: It's all about the perfect active holiday. Enjoy a mix of swimming, snorkeling in sea caves, stand-up paddling, relaxing on floaties, sunbathing, or exploring centuries-old Greek fishing villages. We'll share the fun of our regular on-board cooking routines and hold dedicated Forró workshops led by fantastic teachers. Want to learn the ropes? Our experienced skippers will gladly teach you the basics of sailing!
🌙 By Night: We bring the community together for magical evening Forró parties. Expect our famous "Forró Raft Parties" where we tie the fleet together to create a floating dance floor, sip drinks on deck, stargaze under the clear Mediterranean night sky, and dance until the stars come down.

Your ticket is your all-access pass to a week aboard your moving luxury apartment!
- 7 nights accommodation on a sailing boat (of your budget choice)

Our experienced skippers are your "boat captains" and will bring you safely to secluded beaches, enchanted coastal towns and teach you basic sailing skills if you're interested.
Dance Workshops: Move to the Rhythms of Brazil! Join our passionate Forró teacher, for at least three dynamic workshops where you'll learn all the essential moves and smooth transitions. We're in touch with some well known teacher and will announce their names when it is fixed. Whether you're a complete novice or a seasoned dancer, you'll leave feeling confident and connected to the music. If our group grows, we'll feature a second Forró teacher for even more flavor and style in your classes! The availability of a second teacher depends on how many participants join the trip at the end.
What is NOT Included?
(1) Boat "Kitty Costs" (Approx. €250 – €350 per person)
This mandatory shared cost is collected on-site and includes:
- Provisioning for meals on board (food & drinks).
- Fuel & port fees.
- National park fees.
Meal Plan: We do a big grocery haul on the first day and cook most of our meals together on the boats, which is part of the fun! We occasionally go out for dinner as well.
(2) Personal Travel & Expenses
- Flights to/from Airport.
- Local transport (e.g., train/bus) to/from the marina.
- Other personal costs on land (e.g., restaurant food, drinks, souvenirs, etc.).
Ticket Booking Options
A boat is a fully equipped floating apartment, and the price difference is based on size and comfort. A higher budget translates into bigger cabins, larger beds, more common areas (and more space to dance Forró!), and more/larger bathrooms.
Tickets are sold per person based on the type of boat:
- Bronze Ticket: Monohull 40-50ft
- Silver Ticket: 45 to 55ft Monohull or ca. 40ft Catamaran (popular!)
- Gold Ticket: Catamaran 40 to 46ft
The exact boats for this trip will be announced after they're booked (foreseen for March 2027).
You can get a €50 discounted price if you select a spot in a saloon (living area) or a bow cabin.
Cabin Sharing: If you book alone, you will share a cabin with another Forrózeir@ of the same gender. If you are booking with a friend, simply let us know their name to ensure you share a cabin.

Professional Photo Package
You have the option to book a photo package from our professional photographer, Camila Medici. The package includes all released event photos plus five personal portrait photos of you. Additional individual photos can be purchased for €8 per photo.
Booking Tips for You
- Pay Offline & Donate! If you select the option to pay your ticket offline by bank transfer, we will convert your booking fee into a donation to the NGO

- We offer a referral discount program. How does it work:
- You ask the ORGA team for a discount code with your last name. The ORGA team creates it in the system.
- Your friend books his ticket using the respective discount code and he/she gets 25€ discount.
- For every ticket sold with your "last name discount code", you get 50€ transferred* by us (*transfer latest at the end of the event to make only one transfer)
