Museum Makers: Collage Art at Hilliard Fête
Inspired by Rachel Libeskind’s exhibition on view, experiment and create in this hands-on adult collage-making class designed for all skill levels. Led by Michael Eble, Assistant Dean for the UL College of the Arts, explore the art of composition through layering, texture, color and found imagery. Limited to 20 participants.
- Hilliard Fête - One Museum, One Day, Endless Exploration
- 10 a.m.-3 p.m. All-day art making for families , including collage making, community mural by Hannah Gumbo, art scavenger hunt, sidewalk chalk graffiti, screen printing, metal working and more.
- Noon-1:30 p.m. Lunch on the lawn with live music and food trucks
- Full entertainment and culinary offerings to be announced.
- 1:30 p.m. Guided tour of current exhibitions
- 2-3 p.m. Museum Makers: Collage Art, for all skill levels

Members, UL students, faculty and staff, and children under 10 are always free. Public entry with museum admission.
