Onwards Festival is a roaming spectacular. Often described as like a beer crawl but with the focus on music instead of beer. Now 10 years old the festival runs through the Colne Valley down the length of the Huddersfield Narrow Canal from Slaithwaite to Marsden.

Featuring four distinct venues—Civic Hall, The Watershed, Dark Woods Coffee, and the historic Marsden Mechanics—the festival celebrates grassroots music and art with a carefully curated lineup. With no overlapping sets, day ticket holders can experience the full musical journey from start to finish.
