Peterborough Green Party invite you to a screening of the People’s Emergency Briefing hosted by Megan McCubbin on 11^th June 2026 at the George Alcock Centre, 12pm – 4.30pm

Both local MP’s Andrew Pakes and Sam Carling as well as Paul Bristow, Mayor for Cambridgeshire and Peterborough, Deputy Leader of the Green Party, Rachel Millward and Dr Shabina Qayyum, Leader of Peterborough City Council have been invited to join us.  

Further, targeted invitations to this event have been circulated to over 50 businesses, organisations, community groups and projects from sectors covered in the film – Nature, Climate, Tipping Points, Weather Extremes, Food Security, Health, National Security, Economics and Energy Transition. 

We are now releasing our open sales, so don’t miss out on being involved with this important event!

To ensure you’re also there, please get your ticket early! 

Basic tickets are priced to cover the cost of organising this screening. You’re also given the option to support or donate extra (both discretionary) ensuring we’re able to continue this conversation into the future – it’s too important to end when the doors close. 

We aim to create take away information, further resources and hope to organise another event in the future where we reflect and discuss actions taken since the screening. 

Please offer questions in advance so we can select the widest range and target to our panel simply by replying to this newsletter. Megan will call from the audience for you to deliver your question on the day, so don’t miss this opportunity!
