A Decade Together: Celebrating 10 Years of Humanitarian Impact

On Saturday, 18th October 2025, Refugee Crisis Foundation invites you to the ballroom of the Kimpton Clocktower Hotel, Manchester for our gala, marking a decade of humanitarian impact. This black-tie event will feature a three-course dinner, and thought-provoking addresses from distinguished humanitarian leaders, healthcare pioneers, and our keynote speakers, Dr Mohammed Tahir and Dr Ahmed El Mokhallalati. 

Dr Mohammed Tahir is a renowned orthopaedic and peripheral nerve surgeon based in London, whose work extends beyond the operating room into the realm of humanitarian action. In April 2024, Dr Tahir embarked on his first humanitarian mission, crossing into Rafah, Gaza just before the blockades began. Dr Ahmed El Mokhallalati is an Irish-Palestinian plastic surgeon who led the department of plastic surgery at Al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza. 

Our Projects

Refugee Crisis Foundation is a UK-registered charity and international humanitarian organisation committed to helping vulnerable individuals in crisis situations. All proceeds from the gala will directly support our vital projects in Bangladesh, Gaza, and Afghanistan.

Since 2018, we have been working in the world’s largest refugee camp in Cox’s Bazar, Bangladesh, home to over one million Rohingya refugees from Myanmar. Our work includes oral healthcare, hearing loss rehabilitation and educational support for children with learning difficulties. In partnership with PalMed Academy, we are rebuilding the two dental schools in Gaza, Al Azhar University and University of Palestine. We will be visiting Afghanistan in January 2026 to provide oral healthcare, surgical training and welfare aid to the most vulnerable.

Please note tickets will not be available at the door.

Individual Standard £85: Standard ticket for the gala dinner.
Individuals VIP £100: Premium seating and a raffle entry to our general raffle.
Standard Table (10 guests) £750: Standard ticket with discounted group booking.
VIP Table (10 guests) £900: Discounted group booking with premium seating as well as a general raffle entry for each guest.

Raffle

General Raffle: Our general raffle is exclusive to our gala attendees. This includes incredible prizes including a UK overnight stay for two, our VIP tickets include a raffle entry. Attendees will be able to purchase raffle tickets at the gala..
