Expanding drawing : to make and unmake - bilateral, blind & touch based approaches

These longer workshops take the place of the large scale drawing workshops that have run successfully for many years.

They will enable us to dig deeper into themes of grounding, attuning and harmonising through the space and practice of drawing.

This longer offer continues to be founded on the sympathetic principles of Guided Drawing and we work with embodied, non critical approaches nurturing process, journeying and creative inclusion.

Outcomes include:

• a liberating sense of embodied, touch led practice

• reflective space to create together and alone

• a series of exercises to expand an internal space of response

​A small group of up to six attendees, we work with table and floor based exercises, solo and collaboratively. We - focus on a journeying approach and ease gradually from restriction to ease, small to large, table to wall.

We work with dry and wet materials and explore various drawing implements - moving gradually towards an expanded space of constructing and deconstructing.

These are nurturing workshops developing strength out of our creatively vulnerable selves.

These are regular and much appreciated workshops  held in Stourbridge at General Office Gallery Gallery / Event space

November 28th 2-5 pm

We will draw collaboratively and then each person has a wall space and time to draw independently. 

COST: £55.00  including all materials/ refreshments
