In this Centre for Criminological Research seminar, Dr Gilly Sharpe explores the central themes of her new book, Women, Stigma and Desistance from Crime: Precarious Identities in the Transition to Adulthood (Routledge, 2024), followed by comments and discussion by two readers, Professor Loraine Gelsthorpe (University of Cambridge) and Dr Claire Fitzpatrick (Lancaster University). The panel will be chaired by Professor Gwen Robinson (University of Sheffield). The seminar will be followed by a drinks reception to celebrate the publication of Gilly's book.

This event will be held in the Moot Court of Bartolomé House, School of Law. If you would like to attend online, please select an 'Online Ticket' type and you will be emailed a Google Meet link beforehand.
