Description
This course is suitable for both new entrant AND experienced crofters.
Have you been asking yourself:-
- How can I prepare for changes in agricultural policy?
- How can I make my croft more sustainable:- economically & environmentally?
- What can I learn from others to adapt my crofting practice - for climate change, biodiversity, and more?
- What resources are available to support me?
Answers to these and other questions in our in-person, interactive two day training course.
Applecross Community Hall; Friday 31st January & Saturday 1st February 2025.
Members:- £50; Non-members:- £80
This includes morning & afternoon refreshments, lunch and croft visits.
The course will be co-designed with participants choosing modules from the following topics:
(i) Land Management; (ii) Animal Management; (iii) Horticulture/Silviculture/Agro-forestry; (iv) Economic Sustainability.

We are delivering this course in other locations throughout the crofting counties between now and the end of March 2025.

This workshop is 75% subsidised through the SRDP Knowledge Transfer and Innovation Fund (KTIF), funded by Scottish Government.
