Spilt Milk Festival 2026
19 - 22 Nov

After a year off, we are back!

We are delighted to announce the first set of acts from our music lineup for this the seventh edition of Spilt Milk. Spanning hypnotic vocal harmonies, psychedelic country, reimagined Irish folk and immersive audiovisual performance, this year’s programme brings together artists who push musical traditions into unexpected and captivating new territory.

2026 sees the festival push into new terrain and also, simultaneously to get back to the essence of how we wanted the festival to be when we came together to start it in 2019.

This years edition maintains its multi-venue format, but will see two distinct programme threads, with our music events taking place in the evening in The Factory, Fureys and The Swagman and during the day a visual art programme closely tied to the work of our sister project Pulled.

Music highlights include the French audio-visual ensemble Gamut, who will open with their new stage creation Panorama, that combines music (modular synthesizers) and visual art (video projection/object manipulation/paper and drawing). In a nod to our beginnings, Landless who performed back in 2019 return to close the festival on Sunday, their vocally rich music is dark and patient; spellbinding and gorgeous. In between the lineup features a slate of contemporary Irish performers who have never performed at Spilt Milk, including Cork multi-instrumentalist Trick Mist, his music channels traditional Irish music through an abstract prism conjuring a contemplative liminal landscape between reality and imagination; unequal parts Irish country & western, psychedelic, folk and punk, Shamrock Showband are paying homage to and trying to revive the Irish Showband era and Venetian Tendencies is a sonic art and music collaboration between Sarah Grimes and Eothen Stearn. Blending vocal hooks with meditative drum layers and textured synths, their sound is both steady and fluid.

For this year's festival, we have introduced a weekend music pass for all three shows at The Factory. There will only be a limited number of these passes and they will only be available until 6 November.
