GroundEd is a two day residential teacher CPD programme on 19th-20th June 2026 which aims to support teachers to become confident regenerative educators whilst improving wellbeing through connection with nature and community.
We have an incredible group of experienced practitioners who will present heads, hands, hearts approaches for teachers themselves and resources to take back to their schools. Between sessions there will be several hands-on workshops from exceptional providers of environmental education outreach. In the evenings we will have entertainment from Ladies of the Midnight Blue and Blair Dunlop with plenty of time for networking.
The programme is being curated by Dr Meryl Batchelder. Our wonderful speakers include:
- Katharine Burke, author of Earthwards, Transformative Ecological Education: Keystone Speaker
- Kerry Trevett, Green Solutions: Regenerative Thinking
- Liz Knapper, Back into Nature CIC and Good Life Schools: Connection & Empathy
- Geoff Norman, Cumbria Education Development Centre and Northumberland National Park: Regenerative Pedagogies: Philosophy for Children
- Rosalind Beaumont, Freelance Scholar: Reciprocal Connection
