The Exhale Gathering - Hawkhills, North Yorkshire | 5–7 June 2026

A three-day retreat for breathwork practitioners, wellbeing professionals, and anyone who needs to remember what rest actually feels like. Co-facilitated by Sharyn With a Why and Marie Doherty throughout.

There is a place near York where the skies open wide and the land holds you before you have said a single word.

Hawkhills, North Yorkshire. Daffodils and hyacinths at the door. Trees you can walk among. A bug hotel at the edge of the grounds - small, quiet, and somehow rather profound.

The Exhale Gathering runs here across three days in June: Friday 5th to Sunday 7th, 2026.

This is a retreat. Not a workshop. Not a programme. A retreat - designed around the understanding that spaciousness is not a luxury bolted onto the edges of learning. It is the learning.

Sharyn With a Why and Marie Doherty are present and co-facilitating throughout all three days. Two experienced teachers in the room, from beginning to end - two perspectives, two relationships, and the depth that comes from holding space together.

The Three Days

Friday 5 June - TEA & the Craft For breathwork practitioners and trainees

A day of genuine professional deepening. This is not an introductory overview. It is for practitioners ready to go further into the craft - to explore the edges of facilitation, to ask the questions they have not yet had space to ask, and to expand what is possible in the room.

Rigorous without being rigid. Expansive without being overwhelming.

Saturday 6 June - TEA & Business For breathwork practitioners and wellbeing professionals

A day of honest, experienced business support. Sharyn brings her background as a sole trader and years in corporate accountancy, project management, and change direction to a room of people navigating the same terrain. Pricing. Bringing offerings to market. Creating programmes. Tech. All of it.

Not theory. Real expertise, generously shared.

Sunday 7 June - TEA & Tending Open to all

A day of restoration. Time in nature. An exploration of what active rest actually means - not just pausing, but genuinely restoring. A nervous system allowed to settle. Nothing required of you.

For breathwork practitioners, wellbeing professionals, teachers, team leaders, managers, carers, and anyone who simply needs a day that asks nothing of them.

The Evening Business Masterminds

Both evenings after dinner, open to all guests who have stayed for dinner.

Guests submit real business challenges ahead of the session. Two or three go into the hotseat - live coaching in front of the group. Everyone learns from watching a real challenge worked through honestly and in real time. No case studies. No hypotheticals.

The Full Gathering - £575 All three days, three lunches, two dinners, two nights bed and breakfast in a private double room, both Evening Business Masterminds.

Three Days, Three Lunches - £333 All three days with lunch each day, both Evening Business Masterminds. Own accommodation nearby.

Single Day Ticket - £111 One day of your choice, including lunch and snacks.

Add dinner to any day ticket - £25 Stay for the evening meal and join the Business Mastermind.

Additional overnight stay - £120 per night Single occupancy double room, including breakfast. For those adding one or two nights without booking the full retreat.

Practical details

Arrival from 10:00am Friday 5 June. The programme begins at 11:00am. Departure by 5:00pm Sunday 7 June.
