About the session:

Through movement, mantra / affirmations, mudras, breath work, meditation and journaling we’ll connect with your seeds of intentions - your inherent gifts and ways of being. Renewing and reconnecting to what you want to create more space for and / or grow in your life, whilst also connecting to the vitality that exists within all of us.

For many Spring and the equinox mark the beginning of the year, the natural year when our seeds of intentions are beginning to grow shoots or fresh seeds are sown and preparations made for the coming season of growth.

As the earth begins to wake up showing new signs of life and growth, so too does that sense of being fully alive begin to stir in us. A few hours of retreat, to take the time out for yourself and tap into the essence of new life, renewal, vitality and growth.

You can join in with all parts of the session and equally sit out what you’re not feeling.

A choice of herbal teas will be provided and included as part of the session.

I aim to create a space where you can just be, a space to carve out time for you and through movement and stillness tap in to your own inner knowing, as well as stretching your body and mind beyond the everyday.

Suitable for all levels of Yoga, although if you have any conditions or injuries that you think may inhibit your practice please get in touch with Emma on 07734 086693.

A bit about Emma:

event_description_image_134523_1703072910_029d2.jpg?_a=BAAARODQ

I have been practising Yoga for 20 years and love what Yoga can do for the mind, body and soul. I completed a 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training Course in Rishikesh, India learning Ashtanga Vinyasa and Hatha as well as various Meditation and Pranayama (breathing) techniques. I teach weekly in person Hatha Yoga classes, guide Yoga Nidra sessions and again love and believe in its capacity as a meditation form to relax, heal and better our life experience.

Practical Bits to know:

  • Bring your own Yoga / exercise mat if you have one or something comfortable to lie and stand on in bare feet.
  • Ideally the Yoga is done on a mat with bare feet or grip socks
  • Whilst Emma will keep the Yoga very gentle and no Yoga experience is necessary, a degree of mobility and being able to stand for at least 20 minutes straight is needed
  • Please let Emma know of any injuries or conditions you have before the session, however please note as stated below if in doubt as to whether you should be doing Yoga with these injuries or conditions, please consult a medical professional before hand
