TWT23: Novara LIVE on Saturday

Novara Live: Who Are Our People?

SATURDAY 7th Oct 1930

Note: to attend this session you also need a regular TWT23 ticket, available here.

Over recent years, debate about left wing political strategy has hinged on whether one is for or against identity politics. But is such a binary even helpful for those interested in addressing the climate crisis, threats to LGBTQ+ rights and a society marked by ever higher inequality? Those critical of identity politics often respond that a ‘class first’ approach is needed. But what does this imply? Does it mean a cross-class alliance is impossible, or not necessary, for the kinds of policies socialists want to implement?

Join Aaron Bastani, Ash Sarkar and Dan Evans in the studio for a special TWT edition of Novara Live.

Why does this event require an additional ticket?

To attend this session you also need a regular TWT23 ticket, available here. We know this event will be popular. To ensure we don't have loads of people queuing who then get turned away, this free ticket registration means you can secure a spot ahead of time. For that same reason, it's limited to one ticket per person.

This event has limited seating capacity, but lots of standing capacity. We'll reserve seats for those who need them; if you don't need one, you might be asked to stand.

Make sure you arrive on time. Doors open 30 minutes prior to the start time. If we have no-shows, we'll let in people who are queuing without a ticket, until the venue is at capacity.
