Prague.bio, z. s., ID No.: 19641052, with its registered address at Flemingovo náměstí 542/2, Dejvice, 160 00 Prague 6 (“Prague.bio” or “We”), as the controller of your personal data, places great importance on data protection and the privacy of our website visitors and attendees of Prague.bio events. As a result, we commit to protecting your personal data and collecting, processing, and using it solely in compliance with the European General Data Protection Regulation (Regulation (EU) 2016/679) (GDPR) and national data protection laws. The Privacy Policy describes which of your personal data is collected and how it is used.

We may gather some of your personal information when you:

We utilize your personal information—whether it was gathered automatically or as a result of direct collection—to manage your attendance at Prague.bio Conference 2026 and to better understand and cater to your needs. Processor means a natural or legal person that processes personal data on behalf of a controller such as Prague.bio’s third-party vendors or affiliates, subsidiaries, and related corporate entities providing services.

2. WHAT DATA DO WE COLLECT?

We process different categories of your personal data for different purposes. The specific scope of this data depends on what we use the data for. Some data may be gathered automatically. We limit the amount of information we collect and maintain in all situations to what is required to provide you with the relevant services.

  • Information about the contract (e.g. the object of the contract, performance of the contract, date of conclusion of the contract),
  • Affiliate (e.g. information about your employer/affiliate institution),
  • Category (e.g. Academy, Investor, TTO, Start-up, Law & IP, Press etc.)
  • Photos and audiovisual recordings (e.g. photos, videos and screenshots including your appearance).


2.1. Data provided and/or acquired when you interact with us

We collect information about you whenever you engage with us. This information is detailed further down. Please keep in mind that supplying some personal information is entirely optional. We need to collect your personal data in order to react and fulfil any of your requests. We will be unable to react to your request if you do not complete in the appropriate fields or submit this critical information.

The purposes for processing your personal data are stated below:

  • Registration form

In order to register for Prague.bio Conference 2026 via the link on the www.prague.bio webpage, that will redirect you to the website of our ticket system provider, https://www.tickettailor.com/ and you need to provide us and Ticket Talor (see more information below) with the following information:

  • Identification details,
  • Contact and address details,
  • Content of our communication,
  • Affiliate,
  • Category.

Processing of your personal information is necessary for fulfilling the purchase agreement, respectively, necessity for implementing measures taken before the conclusion of the agreement within your registration request.

Processing is necessary for the performance of the purchase agreement. We will process your personal information for up to 3 years from the fulfilment or termination of the purchase agreement; fundamental information about the legal relationship and its existence (parties, subject of the agreement etc.) for a period of up to 10 years after the fulfilment or termination of the agreement.

  • Purchase of the tickets

For the purpose of concluding a purchase agreement for conference tickets, it is necessary for us to receive and process the following information from you:

  • Identification details,
  • Contact and address details,
  • Data necessary for the execution of payment transactions and the accounting of payments.

Processing is necessary for the performance of the purchase agreement. We will process your personal information for up to 3 years from the fulfilment or termination of the purchase agreement; fundamental information about the legal relationship and its existence (parties, subject of the agreement etc.) for a period of up to 10 years after the fulfilment or termination of the agreement.

  • Cooperation with Brella

In order to enhance the attendees’ experience, we have partnered with Brella (see more info in Section 3), a platform that, via a mobile application, facilitates effective networking, meeting scheduling, and program navigation for Prague.bio Conference 2026 attendees.

To grant conference attendees access to the application, we share the following data with Brella when you register for the Prague.bio Conference via the Ticket Tailor form:

  • Identification details,
  • Contact and address details,
  • Affiliate,
  • Category.

Based on your registration, we (through Ticket Tailor) will send you a link granting access to the Brella application, where you can find the Prague.bio Conference 2026 program. Access to the application is restricted to conference attendees only. At this point, it is entirely up to you whether you choose to use the Brella application.

If you decide to use the Brella application, the protection of personal data is governed by this Privacy Notice and, in the event that Brella is the controller of personal data, also by their Privacy Notice (Service), which you can find here: https://www.brella.io/privacy-notice-service.

If you are a speaker or are otherwise part of the program of the Prague.bio Conference, we may also provide Brella with the following information for the purpose of introducing the program to conference participants and help them navigate the program of the conference:

  • Photos and audiovisual recordings.

The legal basis for processing your personal data in connection with the use of the Brella application is our legitimate interest in enhancing the attendee experience at the Prague.bio Conference and continuously improving Prague.bio’s services.

Your personal data will be processed for the duration of your access to the Brella application, but no longer than one year from the date of registration for the Prague.bio Conference 2026.

  • Newsletter subscription

We may use your email address to send you our newsletter on a regular basis if you have explicitly given us your consent. The submission of your email address is sufficient in order to receive the newsletter, however, you can opt-out to receive our newsletter while registering to attend the Prague.bio Conference via registration form.

You may unsubscribe at any time by sending an email to info@prague.bio or by clicking on the link

provided at the end of each newsletter.

We shall process your personal information until you inform us that you no longer wish to receive our newsletter, or until the moment you withdraw your consent to the processing of personal data.

  • Communication

We may collect information from you if you correspond with us via email and/or telephone. For example, if you send an email to info@prague.bio or send us message via contact form, we may obtain certain information about you, namely:

  • Photos and audiovisual recordings

During the Prague.bio Conference 2026, a professional photographer may photograph you or take a video recording of you.

We need your consent to process Photos and audiovisual recordings to promote Prague.bio Conference 2026 on our website (www.prague.bio) as well as on our social network accounts and further promotional material, both in electronic and printed form. Please consider that you can revoke your consent in writing at any time. The revocation will be effective only for the future. Brella provides us with a mobile application that enables Prague.bio Conference 2026 attendees to connect for scheduling meetings, networking, and easily navigating the event program by offering detailed information about sessions and speakers. The platform uses AI-driven matchmaking to suggest the most relevant connections based on attendees' interests, ensuring meaningful and productive interactions throughout the event.

External accountants and auditors

We may entrust accounting and tax matters to specialists outside Prague.bio. In such cases, we must provide them with your personal data to the extent necessary to fulfil the contract with you and comply with legal obligations.

Person providing payment services (operators of payment gateways, banks, etc.)

To ensure proper payment processing (payment gateway functions, payment collection, payment blocking, SIPO payments, etc.), we must transfer your personal data to the person responsible for handling payment transactions.

Legal and tax advisors

Occasionally, there may be a need for the Prague.bio to allow legal or tax advisors to access information about legal relationships with you. These are individuals bound by a legal obligation of confidentiality.

Providers of promotional services, e.g., marketing experts

Your personal data are not made public. As an exception, your personal data such as name, company and pictures are made available through the virtual platform to the other participants for networking reasons and to identify the participants at Prague.bio Conference 2026 on the legitimate interest legal basis.
