The information we collect from you through our events
When you sign up and/or buy tickets for an event, we collect personal information from you, as well as any emails that you send us. Publishing Scotland is the sole owner of the information collected on this site. We will not sell, share or rent this information to others. The personal information we collect might include your name, address, email address, IP address, and information regarding what pages are accessed and when. When you buy a ticket from us your card information is not held by us, it is collected by our third-party payment processors, Ticket Tailor, https://www.tickettailor.com/. Publishing Scotland does not store any credit card or banking details on our website. Where sensitive information like credit card details or financial information is transmitted, it is done so using SSL encryption.
What we do with your personal information when you sign up to an event
The information that you send us is used by us to answer queries, and give you further information on the event. For the purposes of analysing our website usage, website data is stored in log files and can be used for aggregated and statistical reporting but is not attributed to you as an individual. If you have given us express permission to do so, we may use your information to email you with newsletters and programme updates from Publishing Scotland and /or BooksfromScotland,com.
