Love All Alices, The Play - Staged Reading Event

Fifty actors will perform a staged reading of the play Love All Alices for two nights this summer, beginning on what would have been Alice’s 87th birthday: August 11th, 2022. Come hear the greatest stories of Alice’s life, in her own words, performed by an incredible cast.

ABOUT LOVE ALL ALICES

Alice Spivak was a legendary New York acting teacher, coach and mentor, whose philosophies influenced generations of actors, writers, and directors in a career spanning more than 60 years. Alice died suddenly in late 2020 during the height of the pandemic, leaving behind a deeply significant but largely unrecognized lifetime of work.

LOVE ALL ALICES is a feature film, a work of theater, and a living archive containing interviews, writings, photographs and memorabilia. Begun in collaboration with Alice before her passing, the project has expanded to include the support and participation of her theater company, family, friends and colleagues.

Alice believed fiercely in the power of art to enlighten, instruct and inform the present. The goal of this project is to establish the legacy of this significant woman, to turn her life into a permanent work of art and give future generations access to her teachings.
