Mile Zero Dance Society presents Midwinter Dreams, an online showcase curated by MZD Associate Artist and professional DJ/dancer, Creeasian. The Show is about finding solace within art and community, and is inspired by the aura of the Northern Lights, the Medicine Wheel, and traditional indigenous teachings.

“The best way to get away is to do art, I find.” Creeasian said recently during a discussion with Gerry Morita (MZD Artistic Director) about the show. “We came up with a [show] name and it was like, alright let’s build off of that….when you’re given a block you’re like, what can you do with this block?.”

The online show is a collection of short sets featuring multiple multidisciplinary artists from across North America, all who Creeasian has performed or has close relationships with.

Artists include;

Caleaf Sellers, 2oolman and Bear of A Tribe Called Red, Lisa Vazquez, Brianna Olsen, Busy, J-Kat, Dwennimmen, Que Rock, and Angela Gladue.
