Rail Walks Workshop

Would you like to help create a national network of walks between railway stations? 

This first meeting will shape everything that follows.  We will start by explaining our vision and what has been done so far, then ask you for your views on how to make this a success.  

After the lunch break we will work on a first exercise - drawing walking routes between stations to create a long-distance path from Penzance in Cornwall to Thurso in northern Scotland.  Please bring a laptop or tablet, if you have one, for the afternoon workshop.  We will be using programmes like OS Maps or Outdoor Active, which we will show you how to use if you don't already know.

We will open for tea and coffee from 10.30am with the meeting starting at 11.  Free tea and coffee will be provided and there will be a choice of cafes for lunch.
