Ireland is living through transformational times. We can all feel the winds of change. What isn't quite as obvious, is the explanation for this change. What is its origin? This dearth of understanding is disempowering and fundamentally challenging to society and to democracy. It deprives us of the necessary tools needed in order to debate topics that increasingly affect all aspects of our lives. Compounding this difficulty is a dangerous anti-intellectual phenomenon whereby those who wish to protest, let alone debate the issues, are often 'canceled'. Consequently, many choose not to debate the issues at all, and instead choose silence. However, the less debate, the less understanding there can be.
These seminars discuss how silence is the adversary of truth and how the concept of 'truth speech' can provide the foundation for a future founded on abundance rather than scarcity. Our incredible panelists will provide deep insights into many areas of current social controversy and in a format that we hope will empower those in our audience who have not joined the conversation yet, to do just that.
This year's THINK LOCAL SUMMER SCHOOL speakers include well known thought-leaders including writers, film directors, academics and entrepreneurs drawn from the worlds of Psychology, Philosophy, Agriculture, Environmentalism, Research and Culture.
PANEL DISCUSSIONS
PANEL 1 - "Civilization at a Crossroads - Choosing the Path of Truth."
This panel will discuss the role of truth and specifically 'truth speech' in navigating a way forward for humanity in transformational times.
Truth, the bedrock of democracy, guides decisions, instills trust, and empowers citizens. Yet, if truth eludes us, and we fail to grasp the nature of our shifting world, our influence and relevance dwindles. Today, a censorship behemoth emerges, forged by Corporations, NGOs, and State regulators. Restricting expression and movement, it marches us towards technocracy. Where will this path lead society? What's the endgame of its architects? Is there an alternative path we can take?
Dr. Mattias Desmet, Professor of Psychology and Author
Dr. Peter McCullough (remote), Leading U.S. Physician
Professor Gerard Casey
Sarah Hardiman, Free Speech Ireland
Feargus O’Connor Greenwood, Writer
PANEL 2 - "UN/WEF Agenda 2030 - Food and The Future of Farming"
In this panel, we delve into an analysis of how WEF/UN Agenda2030 impacts rural and urban communities, with a particular focus on the Food and Farming sector. Moreover, we shed light on the experiences of Dutch Farmers, highlighting their shared challenges and providing distinctive perspectives.
The WEF/UN Agenda 2030, Yogyakarta Principles, and Strategic Development Goals (SDGs) form an extensive interconnected policy framework that governments worldwide are actively implementing, mostly without public awareness. These policies, advocated by institutions like the UN, WEF, EU, purportedly aim to guide nations towards a more just, sustainable, and prosperous future. While climate change takes centre stage, these programs impact all aspects of our lives including Education, Travel, Health, Culture and Free Speech. However, as their implementation begins to touch ordinary people through the restriction of basic freedoms, more individuals and communities are becoming aware and are questioning the assumptions underlying these policies and the motives of their promoters. The Food and Farming sector is in sharp focus today because it faces existential challenges that could have widespread societal impact.

PANEL 3 - "Your Health is Your Wealth - Community Based Health Care"
Where to next for healthcare? How can the trust deficit between patients and health providers be repaired? Explore the power and potential of decentralized community-based healthcare. Hear about how we can foster a stronger, healthier society by thinking differently about medicine.

Dr Gerry Waters, GP
