We bring people together to learn and share a wide variety of traditions from West African drumming, Flamenco to UK & US street dance. We have yoga sessions, wellness talks, practices, a youth area with workshops for 13 to 18 year olds and a play and activity area for young children under 7 years old.
Tribe of Doris brings together artists and audiences to share a fireside, creating spaces for all people to connect, learn and be joyful. Our globally-inspired gatherings celebrate music, dance, creativity and wellbeing, giving way to your sense of wonder and leading you back to your roots. The Doris community shares a passion for the power of coming together with our brothers and sisters from around the world.
The Tribe of Doris festival was started in 1991 with 75 people, on a wet weekend outside Bristol. Over the years the event evolved into a five day summer school based in Devon with dozens of workshops a day, bringing together people from across the world, touching thousands of people's lives in both simple and profound ways.
