Wildair Workshop is an arts organization led by local arts educators. Our mission is to foster the artistic growth of kids and teens in New Orleans through art educational opportunities and events. Our main organizers:
Natalie Beck: M.F.A. She has undergraduate degrees in both elementary education and fine arts. Secondary art educator with over 15 years of teaching experience at Ben Franklin High School. in Studio Art with a focus on painting and photography. Her passion is helping students learn new art techniques and ways of self-expression.
Jolie Trotter: BA in Music. Extensive experience working with youth music programs with an emphasis on vocal music. She has a love for musical theatre and is passionate about helping her students reach their fullest potential in music. Music brings people together!
Jeff Beck: BA in Art Education. Jeff is currently a TAV instructor at Hynes Lakeview and Parkview campuses.
Owen Trotter: BA in Music. Owen is the Youth Director at Munholland Methodist Church. Owen is an
accomplished pianist with experience in musical theatre performance, choral direction and stage production.
Camp is Monday-Friday: 9 AM- 3 PM with aftercare until 5 PM. Program location is at Munholland Methodist Church in Metairie, LA.
On the last day of camp, there will be a performance showcase from 5:30-6:30 pm. Aftercare will be free on Friday - all campers are encouraged to stay and prepare for the showcase.
