Sun 19 Jun 2022 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM
Tower Hamlets Cemtery Park, E3 4PX
Description
Join Steve from the Big City Butterflies project to learn how to
manage and create habitats to support butterflies, moths and other pollinators. Starting with an introduction to butterflies and moths we will then look at their habitat requirements, management of grassland and woodland and how to create a wildflower meadow followed by a tour of the fantastic habitats at Tower Hamlets Cemetery Park. This
talk is focused on the London Borough of Tower Hamlets in
partnership with Tower Hamlets Cemetery Park.
Big City Butterflies is an exciting new project which will inspire Londoners to discover butterflies and moths, and connect them with nature and their local green spaces.
Please wear weather appropriate clothes and closed shoes. Bring your own snacks and drinks. A maximum
