Commonweal Stakeholder Networking Event
Thu 25 Jul 2024 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM
Salts Mill, BD18 3LA
Description
We want to hear from you!!!
The Commonweal Trust is delighted to be embarking on an exciting new project in partnership with Peace Museum, to increase the usage of the Commonweal Collection and get the ideas, inspiration and strategies embodied in the books into the hands of activists. We want to grow and sustain social movements and bring experienced activists together with less experienced social change makers for the good of society.
Are you a social change maker or providing frontline support to people who struggle to be visible in society? It might be that you have a cause you care strongly about and feel that your voice isn’t heard, or perhaps you are an experienced activist who can share your expertise with other change makers.
Join Donna and Sue at The Peace Museum in Salts Mill and have the chance to get a behind the scenes look at their newly developed exhibition. in it's new venue and in its early stages of development. Once you have registered, our Outreach Worker Donna will make contact with you to introduce herself and give you further information about the meeting.
We would like to:
Gain an understanding of the expertise already held within our networks.
To promote Commonweal’s new project and introduce our new staff.
Consult with our networks about how Commonweal can develop.
Understand what experienced activists and social change makers want from us to support their practice.
Understand what people who are new to Commonweal want from us. What would support their development and their work
If you have any questions about this event you can contact Donna on commonwealoutreach@peacemuseum.org.uk
