The main aim of the Digital Identity Programme is to improve people’s access to public services by providing them with a safe, reusable and easy way to prove who they are or that they are eligible for a public service.
To support this aim, a key commitment within Scotland’s digital strategy is to develop a digital identity service for Scotland.

We are hosting an online event on the 16 November from 14:00 to 16:00. We’d like to invite you to join us for an update on progress, as we prepare to go live with the new service and to hear what’s planned for 2023 and beyond.

PRIVACY NOTICE - USING YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION
Personal information, such as your name and e-mail address, will be collected by the Cloud and Digital Services Division of the Scottish Government, in the process of running the event, 'A digital identity service for Scotland'. This is specifically in order to remain in contact with you about the event itself.
All other information provided is voluntary, but may help us when responding to any queries or questions.
This event will be recorded and the recording shared publicly. A recording will also be held as a record of the event.
Please note we will only use your personal information for the purpose of the event, 'A digital identity service for Scotland'. We will use your data to keep you informed about the event and to evaluate the event. We will not keep your information for longer than required and will delete all information one year after the event has concluded.
