Food and stories for Gaza
Join us for this exciting event of food and storytelling. You will be hosted by Diline, an author and storyteller from Gaza now based in Scotland. Diline will make food with us and will share stories about the rich Palestinian culture and cuisine and their role in resisting the occupation.
There will be food tasting all from the Palestinian rich cuisine, everything will be vegetarian including delicious food like homemade Dagga (a traditional spicy tomato salad from Gaza), hummus, falafel and sage tea.
There will also be a few things for sale including Zaytoun products and copies of Diline's book Feel Heal Love.
Tickets are free but should be booked in advance. Pay what you can cash donations will be taken at the event with 50% going to Shu’fat Refugee Camp and 50% to support Al-Harah Theatre in Beit Jala. This will be a cash only event.
