Big Caribbean Lunch

Communities across Lambeth will come together to honour the legacy of the Windrush Generation, share friendship, storytelling, food, music and fun!

The 2^nd Annual Big Caribbean Lunch is organised by Friends of Windrush Square in partnership with Lambeth Council. 

We represent a diverse collection of local residents, activists and business representatives, including Black Cultural Archives,  Brixton Bugle, Brixton Society, St Matthews Church, Empathy Museum, Born or Made, Cherry Groce Foundation, Windrush Caribbean Film Festival,  Mature Gems and national organisations including Repowering London.

The organisers plan to give lunch to 100 members of the Windrush Generation in Windrush Square and celebrate everything that makes our communities great!

The lunch will also host renowned speakers, including Patrick Vernon and Glenda Caesar, Windrush Campaigners and an array of community leaders and guests.

Seats are limited, priority will be given to the elder Windrush generation and their descendants.

Please book early to avoid disappointment.
