What to Expect
Over two days, attendees will engage in a carefully curated agenda featuring keynote addresses, panel discussions, and strategic deliberations. Topics will range from decarbonizing global supply chains to sustainable finance, culminating in the signing of a joint statement on the role of business in advancing climate action. This statement will underscore MBAs' influence in shaping the future economy in the lead-up to COP 29 in Baku, Azerbaijan.
Day 1 will feature industry-leading speakers in keynote addresses and main session panels followed by cocktails and networking at one of Oslo's most unique settings
Day 2 will feature a keynote and main session panel before summit attendees (MBA candidates) collaborate to develop and sign a historic joint statement on the state of business and climate action
Post-Summit opportunities will also be available for those wishing to remain in Oslo following the conference
Logistics
- Food and Drink: Meals and refreshments (including alcohol) during the event are included in the ticket cost. Options will be available for various dietary needs. Please note dietary requirements (not preferences) in the check-out form.
- Travel and Accommodation: Attendees are responsible for their own travel and accommodation. Discounted hotel options will be provided soon. Attendees are reminded that their school may have financial support mechanisms to assist in attendance.
- Carbon Offset: Included in the cost is a carbon offset package based on (country of home school) to offset travel and event emissions in line with our commitment to a near net zero summit.
- Dress Code: Business formal for day sessions; Black tie for the cocktail reception; Business casual for Day 2 cocktail reception and dinners.
- Significant Others: Partners make it all possible. Significant Others are invited to join us for the cocktail receptions and dinners ($100).
Registration Details
Attendance is limited to pledge signatories from the 15 leading business schools eligible for the Climate Legacy Commitment. The organisers reserve the right to invalidate tickets if purchased by ineligible parties.
