My Vote My Voice's first accessible hustings is taking place in Manchester. Disabled voters will have the chance to quiz the leading candidates about their priorities – what will they do to make voting more accessible?
What's their plan for tackling health inequalities facing disabled people?
How can they deliver on the Greater Manchester Strategy's vision for a more inclusive society?

Accessibility

All guests will receive name tags upon arrival at the registration desk.
A quiet space will be provided for guests to use at any point during the hustings. We will post more details as soon as the space is secured.
The Friends Meeting House is wheelchair accessible at street level, offers a lift to all floors, and has accessible toilets. A complete list of its facilities can be viewed on its website here.
Recording and photographs
The My Vote My Voice team will take videos and photos on the day to promote the hustings on social media and our promotional materials.
Local media have also been invited to cover the hustings and may ask to speak to guests about the event and their voting experiences. They may also bring cameras to record their coverage. You do not have to talk to journalists if you feel uncomfortable doing so.

My Vote My Voice is a nationwide coalition of disability advocates, organisations, and charities campaigning to mobilise more autistic people and people with learning disabilities to register to vote and cast their ballots at the next general election.
