Interested in Grasslands? We’ve got just the thing for you!

Come along to the first event associated with the new ‘Great Irish Grasslands’ project. This will be an introductory walk, aiming to introduce attendees to some of the grasslands and grassland plants of the Burren. We will be celebrating the best of Irish grasslands, and helping share information on limestone grassland indicator plants

What to bring

• Suitable footwear
• A notebook, pen and camera
• Waterproofs and appropriate clothing for the day, possibly including sun or insect protection.
• Packed lunch and drinks. Plus a bag to bring any waste material home.
• Phone with your own emergency numbers stored and available via the lock screen
• x10 magnification hand lens, if you have one

If you can carpool with friends that would be ideal. Full details of the meeting point will be emailed prior to the event.
