Pipeworks Festival 2024 - 4 in a Bar @ Christ Church Cathedral

In the first of two events in the stunning surroundings of Christ Church Cathedral, Dublin’s own renowned close harmony group presents a varied and diverse programme constructed around the life and work of Charles Villiers Stanford (1852–1924), Irish-born organist, teacher and composer.
In the centenary year of his death, the vocal quartet will perform a newly-commissioned work by Irish composer Rhona Clarke, which focuses on Stanford’s legacy in a thought-provoking way.
