Charity Shop Fashion Show 2024

Join us for this year's wow evening with the Charity Shop Fashion Show! Ramsgate’s seven charity shops are getting together again for another great fun evening - hoping to raise even more this year for the shops.  

Once again, people of all ages and sizes will volunteer to model for the show. Last year 32 individuals (none with previous experience of walking a catwalk – the oldest over 80, the youngest 6 years old) were brave enough to model the clothes and accessories specially selected by the shops. Encouraged by a hugely supportive audience, the models went from nervous to confident in seconds!

All items paraded during the show are available for sale at the end of the evening. The shops taking part are: RSPCA, Pilgrim’s Hospices, TAG Pet Rescue, Cats In Crisis, Cancer Research UK, British Red Cross and Shelter.

This year we have a new aspect to the show: 

Unique Creations - a competition for all those who love creative upcycling.  Make something entirely with things from any of the local charity shops, and enter. The closing date is 14 June, to deliver your creation to Radford House for the judging. 

It’s a fun-packed evening, with a bar and interval music from a local Ukelele band. The doors open at 6.30pm for the night to begin! 

Following from the Catwalk Show, on Sunday 23rd from 11am – 3pm Radford House will host a Summer Fayre at which the charity shops will have stalls, plus other stalls with local crafts and bric a brac. The whole weekend encourages recycling and upcycling.
